So it would seem that not all “big” blogs are equal. That’s interesting - I wonder what the average traffic rate is for the “a-list” as a whole…

JohnChow.com gets 60+ comments per post. It seems like most of his visitors never read other comments because John posts so often. I also don’t think John’s blog is in the same league as uberaffiliate.com

I’m over from Uber way myself, that’s a blog with some quality content. Nothing against the Chow but he’s never captured my interest enough to claim any feed reader space.

I have been doing this ever since I started my blog. I noticed about 50-100 hits extra per day when I made an attempt to get on the top commentators list. Do this for 10 just as popular sites, and you may see almost 1,000 extra hits. NOTE: If you slack off, so will your hits. So keep commenting. Read my post on Extra bump in traffic

Congrats on getting an entire post about this case study. I am sure you will get a lot more than 86 views now. :-)

Hmm…good point - have to comment more on familiar blogs from now on - maybe it gets me some more traffic - I’m not complaining but every new visitor is valuable :)

That’s great, especially that there is targeted traffic.
