From May 1st to May 10th I was having a bad month! Honestly after having some success in April I had only made $300 in revenues and was a few hundred in the hole after first 10 days of May. I was pretty discouraged because I put lots of work (12hr+ days) into setting up various campaigns that turned out to be total flops that got no traffic and even less conversions.
Fast forward to May11th. Finlay I find a campaign that was getting conversion! spend $60 make $100. Looks like some potential… Spend a few days working hard scaling it and hitting it up on as many different angles as I could think of. By the time May 17th came along I got my first ever $1000 dollar day in revenues! Needless to say May was by far my best month to date as I increase my revnues 400% compared to april, and My monthly profits went up 500%!
Yahoo/Google Spend Expenses: $1200
Facebook Expenses: 3605.29
Misc (Domains/hostin/ext…): 135.37
Total Expenses: 4,940.66
Total Revenues: 10,035.51
Total Profit: 5,094.85.
ROI: 103%
I’m very happy with my both my Profits and ROI. I could of sacrificed my ROI for more profit and higher revenues but my cash flow is killing me. For example despite these numbers I’m so tight on cash that I can’t even afford to bring my girl friend out for dinner. Hopefully this situation will improve as I’m moving to wire transfers and better payment terms across my top networks. I am also not expecting another month of 400% growth so that will also help cash flow as my growth slows down to a more normal rate.
In June I plan to keep moving away from facebook and spend more time in Paid Search. I also got a small joint venture going that I will tell you guys about in the coming week and a few non PPC related ventures that I will dedicated a small amount of time to.

Thats a very healthy ROI there. Thats what i love about affiliate marketing, once you find a converting campaign you can usually scale it up nicely.
wow…nice figures. very inspiring!
I am very impressed Neil. $5,000 in profit for one month is more than enough to live off of if you can keep it coming every month. I made about $72 off facebook. It sucked because being new, I did many $5/$10 campaigns and didn’t get any conversions. So I blew money learning what to do. Then once I started to learn a few things, I started making some money. It is no where near your stats though, but it is progress. I just bought a second domain, and am working on a landing page right now.. I plan to push it with adwords or yahoo’s system, and hope to profit. Hopefully I don’t blow tons of money again learning a new system.
Again, serious kudos to you Neil. You’re probably more of an inspiration than some of the super affiliates as we’ve followed you from the start.
Neil You Rock man. Your blog definitely has much better information than any of the other affiliate blogs out there such as zacjohnsons, uberaffiliate, etc. Your posts are always easy to read and understand.
Thanks guys, your compliments are very motivational and make me glad I started this blog.
I realize I don’t post every day but like most of you I’m still learning so I’d rather post when I have something worth saying instead of just witting a post everyday for the hell of it.
Awesome numbers, congrats! Keep it up!
Just don’t turn into a sell out. You provide great information, and are very helpful. It is nice to have someone just a few steps ahead, instead of someone who is god and has their head in the clouds. Nice job, and don’t charge 5k to be a member
That is awesome Neil congrats. It sounds like you are working your ass off so you deserve this success in my opinion.
Those first few big months are killers for cash flow unless you’re lucky enough to have an unlimited American Express. Just like you said, getting on wire payments, shorter payments and reinvesting your profits into your business will make things a heap easier. Congrats:)
Nice job, Neil! Congrats on your great month.
[...] So what will I do differently to make some money with Facebook? There are several things I will be doing, I will be working with a person that has actually made some money in Facebook. If you do not know who Neil is you should go over to his blog to check his Facebook campaigns and stats. He has even posted his last month stats, and made just a little over 5k in profit! [...]
Why are you trying to move AWAY from FB? …. looks like you’re having a good amount of success with it
[...] I posted my May earnings I also blogged about how I would like to move away from Facebook. In reaction to that I got this [...]
